Alternative Routes Will Be Able to Handle a Maximum of 50% of Agricultural Exports

This was reported by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi during a conversation with journalists.

«Today, given that russia has blocked Ukrainian food from accessing international markets, from the perspective of food security, only 30% of the products that could be supplied to stabilize international markets as a whole are actually reaching them. We expect that, potentially, taking alternative routes into account, it will be possible to reach 50%, but this is the maximum. This means that if the ports of Greater Odesa remain blocked, at least 50% of our export potential will not reach international markets. That is about 30 million tonnes of grain,» Taras Vysotskyi noted.
