MHP Expands Its Presence in Europe’s Poultry Sector

In June, MHP acquired Payan Hermanos (Spain) and gained control over Incusur (Spain).

This is stated in MHP’s report.

It is noted that, through its subsidiary UVESA, the holding acquired 100% of the shares in Payan Hermanos, S.A., which specialises in poultry farming and holds a strong position in the sector.

«This acquisition is part of the Group’s strategy aimed at strengthening its presence and expanding its operations in the Spanish poultry market,» MHP explained.

In addition, as a result of the acquisition, the holding gained control over Incusur Avicola S.A., which is also engaged in poultry farming. Payan held a 28.57% stake in Incusur, while UVESA owned 42.85% of its shares. Accordingly, MHP’s total stake in Incusur increased to 71.42%, while the remaining 28.58% is held by non-controlling shareholders.


For reference: MHP agricultural holding is a leading chicken producer in Ukraine with the largest market share. MHP owns and controls all stages of chicken production: from growing grains and oilseeds and producing compound feed to producing hatching eggs and raising broilers, as well as processing, marketing, distribution and sales of poultry meat, including through partner branded outlets. The agricultural holding also holds a leading position in crop production.
