Given the logistics difficulties, the diversified agro-industrial company Agroprodservice, which operates a fully closed production cycle, has revised its crop rotation and shifted primarily to crops that can be used for its own needs.

The preliminary programme of the 25th International Conference «Fat & Oil Industry 2026,» which will take place on October 30 in Kyiv, has been prepared. For 25 years, the conference has been the main event for the oils and fats industry in the Black Sea region.

The overall oilseed production potential in Ukraine in the 2026/27 marketing year remains significantly higher than last year due to the expected recovery in yields despite adjustments to planted areas.

In the 2025/26 season, the European Union reduced its rapeseed imports from third countries to 5.4 million tonnes, compared to 7.5 million tonnes a year earlier. One of the reasons was the increase in the EU’s domestic harvest.

In July 2026, Ukraine exported 3.67 million tonnes of agricultural products, which is 23.4% less than in the previous month.
