The European Union exported €2.68 billion worth of agricultural products to Ukraine in January–July 2026. This was €239 million, or 10%, more than in the same period of 2025.
This is according to data from a European Commission report.
At the same time, Ukraine dropped out of the top 10 importers of European products, falling behind Saudi Arabia (€2.74 billion), and ranks second in terms of growth in purchases after Egypt (+22%).
Meanwhile, in the first seven months of the year, the European Union imported €6.47 billion worth of agricultural products from Ukraine. This was €37 million, or 1%, more than in the same period last year.
Ukraine remains the EU’s fourth-largest supplier of agricultural products. It is preceded by Brazil (€11.17 billion), the United Kingdom (€8.7 billion) and the United States (€7.7 billion).
Overall, during the reporting period, EU countries exported €138.7 billion worth of agricultural products (-1%) and imported €108.6 billion worth (-4%).

In January–June 2026, the European Union exported €2.32 billion worth of agricultural products to Ukraine. This is €247 million, or 12%, more than in the same period of 2025.
