On Farmer’s Day, the award ceremony for the winner and finalists of the nationwide competition «СИЛА АГРОЗМІН» took place in Ukraine’s capital. The competition is organized by the online media outlet AgroPortal.ua with the support of the U.S. Government under the AGRO Program.

The largest number of new companies in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2026 was registered in the information technology sector — 902 enterprises, up 89% compared with January–March last year.

For Ukrainian farmers, the European Union is the most important market, one that is already shaping export strategies and production technologies. In January–February 2026 alone, Ukraine exported 9.95 million tonnes of agricultural products worth a total of $4 billion. At the same time, foreign currency revenues from agricultural exports increased by 9.3% compared with last year, while the EU’s share in total exports amounted to about 50%.
