Catalogue of Ukrainian Organic Producers Updated

The list features producers of dairy products, vegetables, fruit and berries, as well as oil, honey, meat products, snacks, baby food and alcoholic beverages, OrganicInfo.ua reports.

It is noted that the catalogue was developed by Organic Standard LLC and the Green Dossier Information Centre in partnership with the Organic Initiative Public Union, with the support of the Swiss government and scientists.

«This year’s edition makes it possible to see the diversity of Ukrainian organic products and the companies operating on the domestic market. The catalogue features producers with different business models — from farms to full-cycle enterprises and processors. These include companies developing their own brands, working with retail chains, HoReCa and direct sales, as well as export-oriented producers,» the developers clarified.

They added that the catalogue features 13 product categories: dairy products; vegetables, fruit, mushrooms and nuts; cereals and grain products, flour and seeds; snacks and instant foods; eggs; juices, beverages, fruit and berry pastes and canned products; oil; meat products; herbs and spices, sugar; tea and coffee; honey; baby food; alcoholic beverages.

«Individual profiles contain information about the company, its products, year of establishment, contacts and website. The publication also uses QR codes that provide access to information about the producer and allow certification to be verified. Thus, the catalogue can be useful not only for learning about Ukrainian producers, but also for finding potential suppliers and partners,» the experts concluded.
