Fat & Oil Industry to Bring Together Key Players in the Oils and Fats Industry

• Fat & Oil Industry 2026 will open with a special presentation, «Ukraine’s Oils and Fats Industry amid the Logistics Crisis: Strategic Vision and Tactical Solutions,» to be delivered by Stepan Kapshuk, Director General of the Ukroliyaprom Association.

The conference programme will also include a market panel, two panel discussions and a legal seminar.

The main topics to be discussed during the market panel «Transformation of the Global Oils Market amid Turbulent Geopolitics» will include:

• Global market for vegetable oils and oilseeds. Impact of limited supply from the Black Sea region
• Development scenarios for Ukraine’s oilseed and processed products market in the 2026/27 marketing year
• EU oils market: current needs and competition among suppliers

The conference programme will continue with the discussion panel «Export Prospects: What and Where to Ship This Season?» It will cover opportunities for alternative routes for exporting raw materials and finished products from Ukraine, domestic logistics problems, railway operations under current conditions, cooperation with the EU, potential sales markets and the specifics of working with them, as well as other issues.

The second discussion panel, «Challenges and Development Paths for Domestic Processing amid Blocked Ports: New Growth Points and Where the Margin Is Hidden,» will address the strategy for developing domestic oilseed processing in Ukraine under restricted export conditions, prospects for the development of deep oilseed processing, the role of niche crops in current market realities, and other issues.

The conference will also feature the AGA Partners legal seminar «Legal Aspects of Trade in Oils and Fats Products amid Increased Wartime Risks.»
