The online course «Sustainable Farming: Technologies, Profitability, Innovation» has been created for farmers, consultants, students and agricultural professionals who seek to work efficiently while taking climate challenges into account, preserve soil fertility, introduce modern technologies and find practical solutions for farm development amid increased uncertainty and change.
The course combines international experience and local case studies, showing how to systematically implement approaches that make farming more resilient, efficient and competitive. The programme brings together practical experience from Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
«Ukrainian agriculture is operating under complex pressure: resource costs are rising, agroclimatic conditions are changing, and the problems of soil degradation, erosion, pollution, biodiversity loss and declining yields are deepening. Under such conditions, farmers and consultants need not general theoretical advice, but high-quality, practice-oriented training that will help them transition to more sustainable, resource-efficient and economically justified farming models without unnecessary risks and common mistakes,» the course developers note.
The course helps participants understand how to combine technological solutions, soil conservation, climate change adaptation and innovative monitoring tools to improve farm resilience and profitability. Its main goal is to show how modern sustainable farming can be not only environmentally responsible, but also economically effective. The course combines the experience of the United Kingdom, practical examples from Ukraine and Switzerland, as well as proven solutions adapted to Ukrainian realities. Its particular value lies in its applied focus: it not only explains approaches, but also shows how to integrate them into real farm planning, soil management, plant nutrition, cost management and digital monitoring.
After completing the course, participants will gain deeper theoretical and practical knowledge of modern sustainable farming and will better understand how to adapt their farms to climate change, reduce risks and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Course language: Ukrainian, with English subtitles.
A certificate is provided upon completion of the course.
