Ukraine Opens 23 Global Markets for Agricultural and Food Products

In January-June 2026, Ukraine agreed on 23 new export destinations and trade conditions for domestic agricultural and food products, already exceeding the result for the whole of 2025, when 22 new markets were opened.

This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

In particular, the following markets were opened over the six-month period:

  • Albania — processed pet food.
  • Algeria — beef cattle, cattle for fattening, and breeding cattle.
  • Vietnam — egg products.
  • Georgia — beef and offal, feed of plant origin, rendered fats for non-food purposes, and animal by-products.
  • Denmark — live rodents.
  • Egypt — sheep for immediate slaughter, egg products, fishery products, and pet food.
  • Republic of Korea — pet food.
  • Côte d’Ivoire — beef, lamb, poultry meat, and products made from them.
  • Kuwait — meat and meat products.
  • Moldova — live snails and snail caviar, as well as meat products.
  • Chile — milk and dairy products.
  • European Union — plants for planting of sour cherry and grey cherry, as well as their hybrids.
  • China — flour.

«It is important that more and more of these decisions concern finished products. This means the development of processing, new jobs, and the strengthening of our country’s economic resilience,» commented Serhii Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
