Japan is resuming imports of Ukrainian poultry meat and eggs after five years of restrictions.
This was announced by Yurii Lutovinov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan.
He noted that the decision by the Export and International Affairs Bureau of Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), adopted on 16 October, opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian producers and represents an important step in the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
«We continue our joint work to expand access for Ukrainian products to the Japanese market and deepen bilateral economic cooperation,» he concluded.
