Ukraine confidently maintains its status as one of the world’s leading honey exporters despite the challenges of the full-scale war, logistical difficulties and the European Union’s reintroduction of tariff quotas.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB).
It is noted that in 2026, as of July 31, Ukraine exported 18.87 thousand tonnes of honey worth $65.79 million. For comparison, over the whole of 2025, honey exports amounted to 50.11 thousand tonnes worth $124.92 million.

Last year, the list of the main importers of Ukrainian honey differed somewhat, although the key players remained in the ranking: Germany — 9.80 thousand tonnes ($24.80 million), Poland — 6.26 thousand tonnes ($15.74 million), Spain — 4.34 thousand tonnes ($10.63 million), Italy — 4.31 thousand tonnes ($10.98 million), and France — 4.11 thousand tonnes ($9.94 million).
In 2025–2026, Ukrainian honey was also supplied to the United Kingdom, the United States, Türkiye, Japan, Switzerland, Canada, Qatar, Jordan and many other countries.
«Despite restrictions in the form of EU quotas, which limit overall supply volumes, Ukrainian honey is showing positive price dynamics. The average export price increased from $2.49/kg in 2025 to $3.49/kg in 2026,» UCAB clarified.
The association added that the European Union market remains the key sales destination for Ukrainian exporters, accounting for the lion’s share of Ukrainian honey supplies.
