In the first 13 days of August, Ukraine increased agricultural exports through road border crossing points by 8.9% compared with the same period in July.
This was reported by Spike Brokers on Telegram.
Thus, from August 1 to 13, 130.1 thousand tonnes of agricultural products were exported by road, compared with 119.5 thousand tonnes during the corresponding 13 days of July.The pace of exports increased the most across the Hungarian border — by 32.9%. Volumes increased by 28% through Slovakia, by 14.1% through Romania, and by 3.7% through Poland.
At the same time, the flow of agricultural products through Moldova remained almost at the July level, declining by 1.9%.
The increase in road exports comes amid a significant decline in the overall pace of agricultural shipments. From August 1 to 13, Ukraine exported 790.7 thousand tonnes of agricultural products, which is 57.2% less than during the same period in July.
