A Mobile Manufacturing Plant for Agricultural Equipment Has Been Launched in Ukraine
Orion.Group, a Kyiv region-based manufacturer of stainless steel equipment and storage tanks, has launched a mobile production complex unique to Ukraine. This format enables metal bending, welding, and polishing operations to be carried out directly at customer sites rather than at the company’s factory.
The announcement was made by Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.
The mobile manufacturing complex is designed for the production and installation of large stainless steel tanks with diameters exceeding 5 meters, which are difficult, costly, or impossible to transport in fully assembled form. Investment in the project totaled UAH 35 million.
Orion.Group’s equipment for the agricultural and food-processing sectors is eligible for a government compensation program that reimburses buyers for 25% of the purchase price. The initiative is part of the national «Made in Ukraine» policy aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers.
The mobile production complex is currently being used in the construction of a bioethanol plant in the Ternopil region.
Following the completion of that project, the company plans to deploy the equipment for the construction of an agricultural processing facility in an industrial park in the Khmelnytskyi region.
