As of 2024, the area under organic raspberry cultivation in Ukraine is estimated at 400–700 hectares. This remains a relatively small figure compared to the country’s total raspberry area of 6,000–7,500 hectares. The key raspberry-producing regions are Zhytomyr, Volyn, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia oblasts.

This was stated by Kseniia Huliieva, an expert with the Export Services Department of the Organic Initiative Public Union, during the webinar «Roadmap for Organic Berry Exports.»

According to her, Ukraine’s organic raspberry sector is expected to grow by 1.5–2 times over the next three to five years, with the cultivated area expanding to 700–1,200 hectares, provided that demand from the EU and North American markets remains stable and price premiums are maintained.

«Raspberries are a segment that continues to grow in the global market. A high-quality raw material base, developing infrastructure, and strong growth potential are our key advantages,» said Kseniia Huliieva.
