As of September 4, exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in the 2026/27 marketing year amounted to 3.9 million tonnes, which is 14% less than in the previous season.
This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, citing data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, almost 1.8 million tonnes of wheat were exported (−40%).
Barley shipments to foreign markets amounted to 369,000 tonnes, which is 43% less than in the same period of the previous season.
Rye exports amounted to 0.2 thousand tonnes, while at this time last year there had not yet been any shipments to foreign markets.
Corn exports reached 1.7 million tonnes, which is 91% more than in the previous season.
At the same time, flour exports from Ukraine are 31% lower and amount to 13.9 thousand tonnes.
For reference: In the 2025/26 marketing year, exports of grains and pulses amounted to 37.5 million tonnes. Of these: wheat — 14.1 million tonnes; barley — 1.5 million tonnes; rye — 0.2 thousand tonnes; corn — 21.3 million tonnes; flour — 62.1 thousand tonnes.
