President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Russia will seek to disrupt the maritime route used for transporting Ukrainian agricultural products.

The President made the remarks during a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Ukrinform reports.

«Another challenge is agriculture. We understood several months ago what they (Russia — ed.) were going to do. They will do everything possible to block our grain corridor,» he said.

Zelenskyy noted that no vessels were able to enter Ukrainian ports on 22 July.

«In other words, they targeted all vessels. They will continue to intensify these actions,» Zelenskyy said.

The President added that «logistics, our grain, agriculture, and the energy sector are all critically important.»
