The volume of grain and legume exports from Ukraine in the 2025/26 marketing year (ending on June 30) amounted to nearly 36.9 million tonnes as of June 26, which is 3.8 million tonnes, or 9% lessthan in the previous season.
This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
In particular, 13.9 million tonnes of wheat have been exported, which is 1.8 million tonnes, or 12% less than last year.
Barley shipments to foreign markets exceeded 1.5 million tonnes, marking a 34% decreasecompared to the same date last season.
Rye exports totaled only 0.2 thousand tonnes, which is dozens of times lower than last year’s 15 thousand tonnes.
Corn exports reached 20.9 million tonnes, down 5% compared to the previous season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 61.9 thousand tonnes, which is 13% less than last year.
For reference: in the 2024/25 marketing year, Ukraine exported 40.6 million tonnes of grain and legumes, including: 15.7 million tonnes of wheat, 2.3 million tonnes of barley, 10.8 thousand tonnes of rye, 22 million tonnes of corn, and 71.1 thousand tonnes of flour.
