The German Agricultural Society (DLG) is looking for startups interested in developing and testing their innovations on commercial farms and implementing them in practice through the DLG network. The most promising concepts will be showcased at EuroTier 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for animal farming, which will take place on November 10–13 in Hanover, Germany.
This was announced by the exhibition organizers, DLG.
According to the organizers, the concept with the greatest impact will gain access to a partner farm that will financially support the further development of the project.
«Under the motto «Tradition Meets Startups,» DLG connects agricultural enterprises with innovative startups. The goal is to use DLG’s network of around 30,000 members to bring innovations aimed at improving animal welfare into practical application, while also providing startups with valuable feedback based on real farming experience. The main focus is on systems capable of operating autonomously in turkey housing facilities, stimulating animal activity, and detecting behavioral abnormalities at an early stage,» the statement said.
