Agroholding Astarta-Kyiv and the State Employment Service announce the recruitment of 50+ participants for the Adult Trainee Week project. This is an opportunity for those who want to return to active professional activity.
Internship participants will gain practical experience in the company, accompanied by mentors, and a chance to continue cooperation after the project is completed, the holding's press service reports.
Astarta-Kyiv called the internship for people 50+ part of its approach to responsible hiring and human capital development. In times of demographic change, it is important for businesses to see the potential in everyone who wants to work. Already, 74% of Ukrainian companies report staff shortages, while experienced candidates often face age bias and need support to return to work. Involving all generations in the labor market is not only a social responsibility, but also an anti-crisis tool for business.
The internship will take place in June 2026 in the following areas:
- Production and technical specialties;
- Agricultural production and animal husbandry;
- Logistics and warehouse processes;
- Food production and laboratory research;
- Economic support of enterprises.
Each trainee will be accompanied by a mentor who will help them gradually get into the work, get acquainted with the company and its areas of activity, and gain practical experience in the chosen position.
The internship will last 5 working days. Upon its completion, the participants and the company will make a decision on employment together. The project is being implemented at the enterprises of Astarta-Kyiv agro-industrial holding in Poltava, Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia regions.
