Ukraine restores poultry exports to pre-war levels

Ukrainian exports of poultry meat in March 2026 amounted to 43.47 thousand tons, which is 5.3% more than in February 2026 (41.08 thousand tons).

According to the Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine, exports reached their highest level since January 2022.

In monetary terms, exports decreased by 3.8% and amounted to $85.05 million in March.

The main buyers of Ukrainian poultry meat in the first quarter of 2026 were the Netherlands (18.9%), the UK (12.4%), Slovakia (10.1%) and the UAE (7.9%).

The share of exports to the EU countries in January-March amounted to 35.8% (42.4 thousand tons) of the total volume. At the same time, in monetary terms, almost half of the foreign exchange earnings (46.4%) came from the European Union for these products.
