Ukraine recorded another series of flights to Egypt in late April, during which Russia exported Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) through the ports of Mariupol and Sevastopol.

This was stated by Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk in a commentary to Ukrinform.

"Russia continues to sell stolen Ukrainian grain from the TOT through outright criminal fraud with documents. At the end of April, we recorded another series of flights to Egypt, where the occupiers use the same scheme," he stressed.

The Commissioner said that the grain is loaded in the closed ports of occupied Mariupol or Sevastopol.

According to him, the initial documents mention Russian ports, for example, Temryuk, but after going to sea, the declarations "magically" change - and the final destination is the ports of Egypt - El Deheila or Alexandria. At the same time, Irkutsk is already under Ukrainian sanctions and officially arrested as part of criminal proceedings in Ukraine. So is another vessel, the Mikhail Nenashev, which transported Ukrainian grain from Sevastopol to Oleksandriya during the same period," Vlasiuk said.

At the same time, the Presidential Envoy emphasized that the change in documents does not change the reality, as "this is stolen grain exported from the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine."

He informed that the Ukrainian side establishes real routes in spite of false declarations.

"The Egyptian side must realize that by buying such wheat, it becomes part of the logistics chain of the Russian war crime," Vlasiuk said.

According to him, all information about these flights, vessels, captains and their owners has already been transferred to international partners for further actions and strengthening of sanctions pressure on the shadow grain fleet of Russia.
