Agricultural Production in Ukraine Rises Sharply

The volume of agricultural production in Ukraine increased by 17.2% in January–July 2026 compared with the same period last year (in January–June, the figure decreased by 1.6%).

This was reported by the State Statistics Service.

Livestock production increased by 0.1%, while the corporate sector increased its output by 10.6%. 

However, household farms reduced production by 17%.Crop production increased by 28.5% during the reporting period. At agricultural enterprises, the figure rose by 40.5%, while household farms recorded an increase of 2.3%.

The largest declines in agricultural production compared with the previous year were recorded in Donetsk (-67.2%), Zakarpattia (-23.3%), Odesa (-25.6%), Zaporizhzhia (-14.7%) and Sumy (-2%) regions. The largest increases were recorded in the following regions: Kherson (+64.1%), Khmelnytskyi (+60.3%), Ternopil (+36.8%), Mykolaiv (+27.2%), Rivne (+25.1%) and Volyn (+24%).
