A shipment of urea has been dispatched through the port of Chornomorsk for the first time in seven years, destined for international buyers in Mediterranean countries.
This was reported by LIGA.net, citing data from Group DF, which includes the fertilizer producer.
The total volume of shipments amounts to around 21,000 tonnes.
The main export destinations were Italy and Türkiye. Buyers of Ukrainian urea include major international companies, in particular the U.S.-based Nitron Group and Korea’s Samsung C&T Corporation.
Ostchem continues to sell part of its fertilizers to European industrial consumers via land logistics routes.
