Farmer Develops Own Farm Management System

LLC Svitanok Stari Mayaky in Odesa region has developed its own Farm Management System (FMS) without programming, using free Google tools.

This was reported to AgroPortal.ua by the company’s CEO, Oleh Hladkyi.

The reason behind this decision was the lack of a unified ecosystem for agricultural producers on the market. Currently, most farms are forced to use various specialized software solutions that are not integrated with each other. This leads to data duplication and complicates process management.

Oleh Hladkyi, CEO of LLC Svitanok Stari Mayaky
Using a no-code approach and basic free Google tools, we created our own FMS system. It replaces professional applications, consolidates all data into a single database, and allows us to process it according to the needs of our company, department, or specialist.

As a result, the company managed to automate key processes, including financial, fuel and material accounting, monitoring of field operations, management of land lease agreements with plot visualization, weighbridge operations, tender procurement, collection and analysis of weather station data, field scouting, reporting, and CRM for the seed business.

The development of the system took about one marketing year and required no additional investment. Its use and maintenance remain free of charge, as it is built on standard Google tools.

For reference: LLC Svitanok Stari Mayaky is a finalist of the All-Ukrainian competition POWER of AGROCHANGES  in the Smart Management category. The competition is organized by AgroPortal.ua with the support of the U.S. Government within the AGRO Program.
