Ukraine Has a Chance to Lead Global Frozen Raspberry Exports in the 2026/27 Season

Ukraine has been the world leader in net exports of frozen raspberries since 2024 and may continue this trend in the 2026/27 marketing year.
This forecast was presented by the Ukrainian Berries Association in its August report.
Experts noted that in June–May of the 2025/26 season, 63.3 thousand tonnes of frozen raspberries were exported worth €250.8 million (+65%), at an average price of €3.96/kg.
The new season started with higher prices. In particular, 2.15 thousand tonnes of products were exported in June at a price of €4.14/kg. The destinations were the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany.
«Due to Serbia’s poor harvest (-50%) and frosts in Poland, Ukraine has a chance to become the leader in terms of gross volume as well in the 2026/27 marketing year,» the Association believes.
They add that the sector’s focus on autumn varieties strengthens its export position. Therefore, producers are advised to plan berry procurement and secure contracts in advance.
