The Enemy Destroyed the Warehouses of Three Major Food Suppliers near Kyiv
A large food warehouse on the border between Svyatopetrivsk and Bilohorodka, near Kyiv, was damaged in a Russian attack on the night of July 19.
The facility stored products from at least three major suppliers to cafes, restaurants, and hotels, reports Informator.
It is noted that local public groups reported the strikes on the warehouses, specifying the exact address in Svyatopetrivskyi, on Bilohorodska Street. That is where the frozen food warehouses are located, where products from three major companies supplying goods to the HoReCa segment were stored.
A frozen food warehouse belonging to METRO Cash and Carry—a chain of large supermarkets throughout Ukraine—is located at the specified address. Previously, the company had repeatedly posted online job listings specifically for this facility.
The facility also stored products from FRIANNA FOODS—one of Ukraine’s largest companies supplying goods to hotels, restaurants, and cafes. Unlike METRO, which sells goods both retail and wholesale, this company specializes in traditional B2B supply directly to establishments.
SANTA-UKRAINE (trademark «Santa Bremor») is also believed to be among those affected.
It supplies fresh and frozen seafood to the same HoReCa segment.
The exact consequences of the strikes have not yet been reported.
