Road exports of agricultural products through border crossing points amounted to 285.3 thousand tonnes in April, which is 14% lower than the March peak of 333.2 thousand tonnes.
This was reported by Spike Brokers.
The main volume of road exports in April passed through several key border crossings. The largest load was recorded at Krakivets–Korczowa — 52.1 thousand tonnes, Porubne–Siret — 48.8 thousand tonnes, Rava-Ruska–Hrebenne — 33.8 thousand tonnes, Yahodyn–Dorohusk — 30.1 thousand tonnes, Chop–Záhony — 26.3 thousand tonnes, and Diakove–Halmeu — 24.9 thousand tonnes.
«The structure clearly highlights the concentration of flows along the Polish and Romanian corridors, with additional pressure on the Hungarian route,» the experts noted.
The commodity structure in April remained traditionally shifted toward processed products and food cargoes. The largest volumes were generated by sunflower oil — 26.5 thousand tonnes, poultry meat — 23.3 thousand tonnes, ethyl alcohol — 21.8 thousand tonnes, sugar — 21.6 thousand tonnes, soybean meal — 18.1 thousand tonnes, and soybean oil — 14.8 thousand tonnes.
